shoccoShirts - Fun, artistic tees! Wolf-shirt free since 2010!
Welcome to Shocco Shirts! We're a pair of artists in the animation industry in Vancouver, BC and we've decided to setup a little tshirt outlet for our designs. Although there's an insane amount of tshirt shops out there, we've noticed that lately anything goes, so sifting through the mundane for anything good can get pretty tiring. So we setup a shop with a limited amount of designs that we are very proud to wear around town. We hope you'll like them enough to wear them too!
Keep an eye open for new stuff! Current designs feature inspiration by cars, movies, characters, monsters, armatrons, the goonies, annoying che shirts, cavement, grunge rock, ski doos, motorhead, lemmy, robots, cinquecento, puynk rock, and so much more!

No Standing - Rock Band - News
The nucleus of No Standing was formed in mid 2007, when an ad placed by Craig, a lonely and semi talented guitar player and singer, on a music website for a bass player interested in playing at an American Rock night was answered by Phil, an organised and reliable bass and keyboard player. After organising a rehearsal date the lads convened, only to be let down by the remaining members of the band who didn't show. Not deterred, the twosome jammed, then jammed some more the following weekend, when Phil introduced Craig to his home made amplifier (which at times resembled a rabbit hutch with a glowing red light (so glad he has upgraded!).
Still searching for a lead guitar player Phil spotted another ad for a guitarist with American classic rock influences. At this juncture Tim, he of the long curly hair and Maton Guitar, joined our band of merry rockers, and along with a local drummer, coincidentally also named Sean, we put on a scintilating performance in October '07 as a Bon Jovi tribute band named New Jersey (see our Video page for a snippet from the night...riveting stuff!). The night was a huge success, and lit the flame that was to be the beginnings of the monster.
As always seems to happen things then went somewhat haywire, losing Sean as our drummer, then gaining and losing Steve (on of the bands best mates still - see www.missingjade.com), the band now tentatively titled 'No Standing' was again without a beat. At this point we would liek to pay tribute to the Casio company...were it not for their ingenuity and foresight, we would not have had a basic but certainly useable drum machine to practice with. Nights were spent in a dingy community hall in Burpengary, bashing away fervently to the beat (boom-tish-boom-boom-tish) of the Casio. Some began to lose their drive, such was the monotony of the siuation...and the beat! Auditions were held, none went even close to fitting the bill.
Then from out of nowhere, a chance meeting in a shopping centre (mall for you North Americans) led to a call being made to a guy who had been bashing away on his drums in his lounge room for six very long years. It's fair to say scepticism was at the forefront of our minds, mainly due to the quality, or lack thereof, of the people who had auditioned for the vacant post up to that point. Shaun, a loud, rude and aggressive drummer, turned up at the appointed time and place, however due to the fact he keeps his kit in a million pieces when he isn't playing it, it seemed to take forever to get things moving. Oh no, another lemon!...
From the first count in it was obvious...our lives were about to change.
Shaun wasn't just the right drummer for No Standing, this was now the powerful combination of four focused and talented musicians, all with the same dream and drive, suddenly thrust together to form one powerful, solid, hard rockin' unit (he said unit). Playing their first gig at the Palace Hotel Redcliffe on 12 April 2008, No Standing are now a finely tuned foursome, never content with playing just a gig...every performance is a show, one that changes lives and leaves crowds wanting more.
